Task 6 - Final Major Project Production

Task 6 - Final Major Project Production

The final product I made was a precision platformer in the 2D game engine Construct 2. It is a lot different compared to my first idea for my Final major project. It was made in approximately 2 weeks as apposed to the 3 months we would have had if my first idea would have worked out. The Game itself is and incredibly hard platformer and whilst only consisting of 2 levels. It has approximately 5 hours of testing into it to make it as precise as it is. Some of the jumps are almost frame perfect and I believe one or 2 are pixel perfect jumps meaning the player must be incredibly precise. The product also has teleporters to send the player onto the next stage and turrets that shoot at the player and don't have static spawns so they won't respawn at all. Meaning once dead they stay dead until the player advances. It is overall a hard game.
